Nick Rees – Physiotherapist

Nick Rees

Nick is truly a local, having grown up in Camberwell and been heavily involved in several local sporting clubs. He graduated from La Trobe University in 2009 and has honed his injury assessment and management skills working in the Emergency Departments and Outpatient Clinics of several of Melbourne’s biggest public hospitals, including St Vincent’s Hospital in Fitzroy. This has equipped him with the knowledge and techniques to manage a wide range of injuries and get you back on track as soon as possible.

He is an avid sportsman and plays hockey for Camberwell Hockey Club. He has previously represented Victoria on four occasions, including winning the 2003 Australian Championships in Hobart. He has also played representative cricket for Balwyn Cricket Club.

Nick is currently completing post graduate studies at La Trobe University, which will lead him to specialising with a Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. He has furthered his knowledge with ongoing development in: running retraining, sports and spinal injury management, lower limb biomechanics, knee assessment and management, ACL return to sport testing, clinical Pilates, dry needling and shoulder injury rehabilitation.

Nick has also travelled widely, having spent time living in Indonesia including becoming a Scuba Dive Master, and has volunteered in Antarctica twice for a marine conservation organisation. He is also a keen cyclist and is frequently found locked in tight battles on many of Melbourne’s great golf courses.
