Shauna O’Connor – Physiotherapist

Shauna graduated as a physiotherapist from Queen Margaret University in Scotland. She has a background bachelor’s degree in Sport Science and Health from Dublin City University Shauna’s background in Sport Science in Health is from Dublin City University, where accepted an elite basketball sports scholarship.
Shauna recently made the big move to Melbourne after working in private practice in Edinburgh, Scotland, where she predominantly treated sporting injuries. Over the past few years she has been involved in a variety of sports including underage international basketball, rugby and athletics. Shauna compliments her hand-on manual therapy with dry needling and Clinical Pilates with a strong focus on rehabilitation. As a former underage and Senior Level Irish International basketball player Shauna understood, from a young age, the importance of physiotherapy and optimising rehabilitation as early as possible. She has a keen interest in the management of sporting injuries and assisting athletes in returning to sport.
Shauna is the physiotherapist for Camberwell Men’s Premier League hockey team for the 2017 season.
