Diana started her career by studying Economics at one of the Universities in Russia. After moving to Australia, she decided on a change of environment after a series of events forced her to re-think her life. This included: a stress-filled lifestyle, chronic back pain and dysfunction due to number of years in competitive acrobatics. This eventually led to back surgery, subsequently sparking an interest in massage therapy during her extensive rehabilitation.
Di developed a passion for the benefits that massage can provide for the mind, body and soul, aiding physiological, psychological and mechanical functions of the body. She fully understands how stress and pain can negatively affect your quality of life.
Di has always had a keen interest in sport, particularly for swimming and she still powers out many kms each week in the local pools. She has worked for Melbourne Rebels Rugby team (2013/2014) and is currently one of the head soft tissue therapists at Western Bulldogs Football Club . Di played an integral role in keeping the Bulldogs players going, on their way to winning the 2016 AFL Premiership!
She loves footy and this work with elite athletes has given her an incredible insight in ever developing treatment protocols. Diana brings this skill and knowledge to all her everyday clients at Balwyn.
Special Interests: Low back pain.
