She has developed an understanding of the way that the mechanics of the body plays a significant role in the development of injuries, particularly running-related injuries. She employs movement retraining interventions to optimise treatment outcomes.

Paula believes that Clinical Pilates plays a pivotal role in correcting movement deficits, and she integrates Pilates principles into both the assessment and rehabilitation of patients. She has also completed studies in Strength and Conditioning. She is continuing her professional development, particularly in the area of running biomechanics, staying up to date with current research in this area.

In her leisure time, Paula enjoys staying active with running, travelling and hiking.
