Melanie graduated from Monash University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. After completing her studies she started working in the public health sector where she refined her skills is assessing and managing patients in numerous settings including post operative rehabilitation, pre and post natal assessments, and the emergency department. Melanie also worked with state league soccer teams and national league futsal teams to prevent, manage and rehabilitate injuries.
Melanie has worked in the private practice setting in both Melbourne and London where she has further honed her skills in a variety of musculoskeletal and sports injuries. Her main interests lie in treating foot and ankle injuries, headaches, neck and back pain, including pre and post natal issues through a combination of manual and exercise based therapies. She is also additionally trained in dry needling and clinical pilates which she uses to ensure the best possible outcomes for all of her patients. Melanie has also performed post-operative physiotherapy reviews for numerous foot and ankle surgeons in Melbourne.
Melanie is currently completing post graduate studies in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy to further her expertise in assessing, managing and treating an array of injuries and conditions. Melanie is also able to communicate in both Mandarin and Farsi (Persian).
Outside of work Melanie is an avid reader, enjoys playing tennis and travelling!
