Ashley Fowler, Senior Physiotherapist

Ashley graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK in 2012 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. After completing his studies, Ashley has worked in a variety of settings throughout the UK including: private practice, sports clinics, occupational health and the National Health Service (NHS). During his last role, Ashley worked as a Clinical Lead for a private practice in the military academy town of Sandhurst in the UK where he worked with a diverse team of physiotherapists to help develop their clinical skills to ensure they were always striving to achieve the best outcomes for their patients.

In 2021, Ashley completed his Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Medicine at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. This has allowed him to further refine his expert assessment and treatment skills to help his clients return to what they enjoy doing most in the shortest possible time frames. Ashley’s main interests lie in treating sports injuries and he has a special interest in the shoulder, including shoulder instability and rotator cuff dysfunction. He is trained in dry needling and has a background in undertaking running gait and strength capacity assessments for athletes looking to return to play. He has an avid interest in strength & conditioning and incorporates tailored exercises into the rehabilitation plans for each of his clients.

In his spare time Ashley loves to enjoy the great outdoors including being a keen runner, cyclist, swimmer and hiker. He also likes to lift weights and undertake calisthenic exercises several times per week to keep himself strong and healthy.
