Ryan graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2021 with a Doctor of Physiotherapy.
He has since gained experience working as a sports physiotherapist in a private setting with a focus on musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. Ryan has experience working with elite sporting teams, previously working as the physiotherapist for Sandringham Zebras VFL team, and with NBL1 basketball players.
Ryan prides himself on providing all of his patients with the best care and getting them back to their full potential, whether they are elite athletes, weekend warriors, or those managing any chronic conditions. Ryan has a strong focus on using manual therapy, including extensive experience using dry needling. He uses these techniques to assist his patients getting back to being pain free and normal function before implementing a comprehensive rehab program to ensure his patients leave feeling stronger and empowered to become a better version of themselves.
When Ryan is not at work, he spends most of his time training for his next triathlon and will be completing a full Ironman in 2026. Ryan is passionate about his training, and prides himself on practicing what he preaches. He has a philosophy of keeping your body moving, and has a special interest in treating all sports related injuries, especially triathletes, runners and other endurance athletes.
In between work and training, you’ll most likely find Ryan spending time with his wife trying out the latest Japanese restaurant in town or lounging around at home watching Formula 1 or Friends for the 100th time.
