
Jackson graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy from Swinburne University of Technology, having previously completed a Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science at Swinburne. During his studies, Jackson was the recipient of the Swinburne Physiotherapy Values Award, recognising his contribution to the values and professional standards of the physiotherapy program.
Jackson’s passion for physiotherapy developed through his experience as a sports trainer, where he developed an interest in injury management, rehabilitation and helping athletes return to sport. He has a keen interest in knee and ankle conditions whilst committing to continually developed his knowledge and clinical skills, with a genuine enjoyment of learning and applying new evidence to his practice.
Alongside his clinical interests, Jackson has been involved in mentoring and leadership at Swinburne. As a mentor and co-researcher in the university’s peer mentorship program, he supported junior physiotherapy students and contributed to the evaluation of the program. His work was presented at the Elevate Australasia Spotlight Series and contributed to the Advance HE Elevate Australasia Digital Showcase publication.
Outside the clinic, Jackson enjoys watching a variety of sports, staying active and spending time on the basketball court. When he’s not following sport, he enjoys spending quality time with his Border Collie and relaxing with a good movie.
