Ben Du, Podiatrist

Kate is an experienced and highly skilled physiotherapist with more than 25 years of clinical practice across Australia and the UK. Her career spans public acute care and emergency departments, public and private rehabilitation, and private practice settings.

A graduate of the University of Sydney (2000), Kate brings broad and in-depth expertise across Orthopaedics, Cardiopulmonary, Neurology, Chronic Pain Management and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. She also has extensive experience in sports injury prevention and management, including her work with Haileybury’s Amateur and Secondary College AFL programs.

DMA-certified in Clinical Pilates, Kate is dedicated to helping patients move with confidence, reduce their pain, and prevent re-injury. Her treatment approach is individually tailored to suit patient needs and may include Manual Therapy, Clinical Pilates, Superficial Dry Needling, Electrotherapeutic modalities and targeted Exercise Prescription.

Kate also has a special interest in the management of Breast Cancer-related conditions, with a particular interest in post-operative Upper Limb Cording.

Kate is also trained in Vestibular Rehabilitation and can provide effective treatment for Vestibular Disorders such as Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), Vestibular Migraine, Cervicogenic Dizziness, Vestibular Neuronitis, Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD), Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Meniere’s Disease & Cerebellar Ataxia issues via Vestibular Rehabilitation.

Outside the clinic, Kate is actively involved in community sport. She captains the inaugural Balwyn Saints Women’s Cricket Team and plays tennis for North Kew.

A lifelong athlete, she has competed in gymnastics, tennis, rowing, surfboat rowing, triathlons, marathons, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. When not training or supporting her children’s endeavours, she enjoys fun with family and friends, trips to the beach, travelling, meditation and reading.

Kate embodies the principles she promotes to her patients—valuing regular exercise, stress management and self-compassion as essential foundations for lifelong health.
